Katternhorn New Build House, Newburgh, Fife

With exceptional views looking over the River Tay, this new build dwelling captures the surrounding scenery wonderfully. The client wanted to build a new 3 bedroom home on the plot of their existing home. Maximising the views was key and the design utilises large windows to enjoy the expansive views with small moments of framed views to provide variety in the living spaces through the new house. Natural timber cladding and a pitched roof to the front of the house relates to the local rural vernacular whilst defining the home within it’s rural backdrop.
